You must keep in mind that there are two important sets of numbers to remember: the PIN of the Bit2Me Card for making purchases in physical stores when requested, and the secret code for validating your online purchases and/or viewing the card details (CVV, expiration date, PIN code).
The Bit2Me Card PIN, or personal identification number, is a four-digit code you use to verify that you are its owner. Like a signature, it is used to verify your identity and helps protect you against fraud. This code is required when you make a cash withdrawal at an ATM and when you make a purchase with your Bit2Me Card in physical establishments.
The secret code is a code of at least eight digits that is used as a password on all your Bit2Me Cards, to authorize online purchases of an amount equal to or greater than 50 Euros, to view the CVV and expiration date, and to view your card's PIN.
To be able to view your card's data (both CVV, expiration date, and PIN), you will have to enter the 6-digit code you will receive via an SMS from Pecunia and subsequently the secret code you have configured.
If you do not remember the secret code, you can change it. To do so, follow the instructions you will find in the following article: How do I change my secret code?
