At Bit2Me, we believe that transparency and clarity when communicating our fees can help you make better decisions and achieve ideal operations.
Below, we explain the limits, fees, and key concepts you need to know when trading, as well as tips to maximize your operations and reduce the fees you pay when using different buy, sell, and exchange options:
- Operation fee
- Operational and management costs on buys
- Limits per operation type
- Quoted price and spread
- Price guarantee and updates
- How we select the market for your operation.
Operation fee
This is the fee Bit2Me charges for its exchange service, meaning for the conversion of any currency or asset. This includes crypto-to-crypto, euro-to-crypto, or crypto-to-euro operations. The fee for this exchange will be applied in the payment currency and is independent of any additional operational or management costs.
Operation | Operation fee |
Buys Instant, recurring, buy orders, and collections. | 0.95% |
Sells Instant and sell orders. | 0.95% |
Exchange Cryptocurrency exchange (Swap). | 0.95% |
- How to reduce the operation fee?
Thanks to Space Center, you can get discounts on operation fees of up to 100% at Level 7, meaning you wouldn't pay any fee.
Below, you can see a table with discounts on operation fees based on your Space Center Level. Check the article about Space Center for more details.
Level | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
% Fee | 0.95% | 0.94% | 0.9% | 0.81% | 0.67% | 0.48% | 0.24% | 0% |
Operational and management costs on buys
This is a fee Bit2Me applies for operational and management costs when processing a payment in euros. When making a direct purchase with euros or a traditional currency, a fee of 1.99% may apply.
The exact fee applied to you will always be detailed in the final window before confirming the transaction. |
- How to reduce operational and management costs?
This fee can be reduced with the discounts corresponding to your Space Center level. If your purchase has an operational and management cost fee applied, the discounts equivalent to your level will be applied to this fee:
Level | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
Discount | -% | 1% | 5% | 15% | 30% | 50% | 75% | 100% |
Limits per operation type
Operation | Method | Minimum amount |
Buy | Card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, Euro Wallet, PIX (Brazil), CVU (Argentina), MBWAY (Portugal). | €1 or equivalent. |
Sell | Wallet | €0.10 |
Exchange | Wallet | Equivalent of €0.10 |
Below are some tips to optimize your operations and reduce fees:
|
Quoted price and spread
The price we offer may include a 1.20% spread over the market reference price. This spread is configured per asset, so it may vary depending on the cryptocurrency you trade.
The spread is a percentage adjustment that Bit2Me applies to the market reference price. It slightly increases the buy price and slightly reduces the sell price, and it is incorporated into the exchange rate you see before confirming. It is not a separate fee line: the proforma indicates that the exchange rate includes the spread.
Example, without Space Center discounts: for a €100 purchase, you would pay a €0.95 operation fee, and the 1.20% spread would be included in the exchange rate. The approximate total cost of the operation would be 2.15%.
Price guarantee and updates
When you request a quote, we generate a proforma with the price, the included spread, and the applicable fees.
For operations up to €20 (Exchange mode), Bit2Me offers you a guaranteed price: the price you confirm on screen is the final executed price, regardless of market variations. You have 10 seconds to accept it.
For operations exceeding €20, we cannot guarantee the price: the order is executed at the actual market price at that moment, so the price may vary slightly after confirming the operation, and the final amount you receive may be somewhat different from what the proforma shows.
The confirmation screen itself indicates which of the two cases applies to your operation. The proforma automatically updates every 10 seconds.
How we select the market for your operation.
For each operation, we look for the market with the highest liquidity among the execution venues we work with. Our engine can settle the operation against euros or against a stablecoin, which expands the number of available markets and allows us to offer you a better price.
When there is no direct market between the two cryptocurrencies in your operation, we internally build the route through one or more intermediate markets. You only see the entry price, the exit price, and the fee. The spread is applied once to the consolidated final price, not at each segment, and the fees Bit2Me pays to the execution venues are not passed on to you.
You can consult the details in our Best Execution, Order Management, and Intermediary Selection Policy.
Important: Business clients with a negotiated contract may have specific fee and spread conditions. |
