In this article, we'll explain step-by-step how to create a DCA bot on Bit2Me Pro. This type of bot makes automatic, recurring cryptocurrency purchases, helping you average your entry price and reduce the risk of investing all your capital at a single market moment.
Access the BOTS section from the Bit2Me Pro menu and click the Create a BOT button.
In the Select bot panel, choose the DCA option ("Automatic purchases at intervals"). This type of bot is designed for volatile markets and long-term accumulation strategies, as it removes the need to time your purchases perfectly.
In the Configure bot panel, fill in the following fields:
- Bot name: Assign an identifiable name to easily recognize it among your active bots.
- Trading pair and amount: Select the cryptocurrency pair the bot will operate on and indicate the amount to be invested in each transaction.
- Purchase frequency: Indicate the unit of time and the value that determine how often the automatic purchase will be executed (e.g., every 3 days).
- Stop conditions (optional): Activate these if you want the bot to stop automatically when a specific condition is met; if you don't activate them, the bot will continue to operate until you manually stop it.
Review the Available funds section and ensure you have sufficient balance in Bit2Me Pro in the selected pair's currency. If you need to add funds, click + Add funds to Pro.
Once you have completed the form, review the bot summary displayed on screen and click the Create Bot button to confirm creation.
- For the bot to operate, you need available funds in Bit2Me Pro (not in Wallet) in the selected pair's currency; if you don't have them, add them before creating the bot.
- The bot will execute automatic purchases recurrently according to the configured frequency, until the established stop conditions are met (if you have defined them) or you manually stop it.
