A hash is the result of a hash function, which is a cryptographic operation that generates unique and unrepeatable identifiers that serves as proof that a transaction was validated and added to the blockchain. Hashes are a key part of blockchain technology and have wide utility. In short, the hash or Txid is the identification code of a transaction in blockchain.

When sending cryptocurrencies, a hash is generated that will allow you to follow the status of a transaction in Blockchain until it reaches its destination address.

To access the hash / Txid of a transaction sent to blockchain from Bit2Me, you only have to click on the transaction on your activity history of the cryptocurrency to see all the transaction details. In order to do this you can follow these steps:

  1. Access the “activity history” section that you will find in the side drop-down menu if you access from the App. If you access from the web, go to the Wallet section and in the right column access the “activity history”.

  2. In the history search the transaction for which you want to check up the hash / Txid. You can filter by date, currency or year in order to find out the transaction more easily.

  3. Once you've found the transaction, click on it in order to display the transaction details.

  4. There you will find the hash / Txid that you can copy and share it or paste it on the blockchain explorer through which you have sent the transaction.

The most commonly used browsers in order to check a transaction status in the most widespread networks are the following:
