Security tips before sending cryptocurrency transactions

Cryptocurrency transfers are not reversible, so you should carefully check where you send your tokens.

Before sending cryptocurrencies from Bit2Me we recommend you to follow these tips:

  • Review the transaction details. We recommend you to do it more than once:

  • Follow the best practices in Blockchain:
     
    • Try sending small amount first

  • Stay alert:
     
    • It is common to be a victim of scams or theft on the Internet.
    • Always be suspicious of calls or messages asking for personal or payment information and make sure it is who it claims to be.
    • If you are being advised by someone and you have met by chatting or calling on social networks, be suspicious!
    • Bit2Me employees do not provide advice or recommendation about investments.

Important: Once the transaction is completed, the platform of origin has no more custody of the cryptocurrency sent and there is no longer possibility to cancel or reverse the transaction. If you have not received the transaction at the destination platform, you should get in touch with them in order to try to find it and recover it if possible (this possibility does not always exist and you may lose the entire transaction).
