It is possible that, when making online purchases or managing claims, a merchant may request proof of ownership of the card or a specific payment receipt to verify your identity.
Below we explain how to obtain it.
1. Why doesn't my full name appear on the Virtual Card?
For security and privacy reasons, currently the display of your full name is limited in the virtual card interface within the Bit2Me App, as well as on mobile payment platforms (Apple Pay and Google Pay).
This protects your sensitive data in case someone accesses your device, but we understand that it may make verification with third parties difficult.
2. Certificate of Ownership or Payment Receipt
If a merchant requires any of these documents, at Bit2Me we can manage it directly with our card provider to send it to you.
To request it, follow these steps:
- Contact Support: You must open a support ticket or send an email to soporte@bit2me.com.
Use your registered email: It is essential that you write to us from the email address associated with your Bit2Me account. For security reasons, we cannot process requests coming from unknown emails.
Indicate the reason: Briefly tell us if you need the "Certificate of Ownership" or a "Payment Receipt" specifying the purchase details.
Once we receive your request, we will process it with the provider and send the document to your email as soon as possible.
